After rewatching season 1, it seems to me . Also season 1 is really great, and it seems to me that we've lost a sense of tragedy since the showrunners have stopped following the books. It's been mostly compensated with the scale and directing of some episodes, but overall, season six and seven feels way less tragic especially the terrible storyline of Arya, Sansa and Littlefinger in season 7. I hope the tragedy will come back in the last season, and that it will give lasting and dramatic consequences to the events of season 6 and 7.

The ending will be bittersweet. Martin's no nihilist and so the chances of an entirely unhappy ending are slim to zero.Demoph wrote: ↑April 21st, 2019, 12:55 pmAfter rewatching season 1, it seems to me. Tragedy isn't necessarily nihilist. It can be bittersweet. Like the Godfather.Batfan175 wrote: ↑April 21st, 2019, 1:38 pmThe ending will be bittersweet. I think it will be bittersweet. I really don't expect a full on nihilistic ending, nor a very optimistic one.
I wonder if the end will be guessed before the final episode airs or that there's going to be a twist in the final episode.
I remember when I saw TDKR for the first time in theatre that the moment

Purely speculation but just in case

Well
Spectacular episode. A much-needed step up from the premiere.
Coster-Waldau was amazing. They're really saving all the Cersei story for the last 3 episodes huh ?

That’s what I’m guessing but I’m wondering if it’s going to be that straightforward. Is there all this buildup for one battle or does the Night King have another plan and will appear in later episodes? Now Where Was I ? wrote: ↑April 21st, 2019, 10:05 pmSpectacular episode. This show is slowly morphing into a piece of fan fiction.
Tormund, Brienne and Lyanna saves the day despite the lazy writing.

Some weird writing but overall that was so great
