Interesting to see the gender split in those polls

Especially married men vs married women

The Democrats taking the House means that Medicare, social security and patients protections in the ACA will be protected from Republicans for now. Also, a lot of electoral reforms took place across the US that will make voting much easier for a lot of people (ex. in Michigan). The several Democratic Governors will also have a big impact in the future as well. The Democrats will have the ability to investigate Donald Trump and will be able to slow down whatever horrible legislation the Republicans want to pass. Ultimately, the Republican Party seems a lot more overtly far-right and Trump-like after these elections and we got a much more progressive Democratic Party.

If you convince people that the truth isn't the truth, you've got them brainwashed to do whatever you need them to. Scary stuff.

Trump just fired Attorney General Sessions.

He's always been angry about Sessions recusing himself from the Russia investigation conducted by Robert Mueller under Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein's direction and not interfering with it.

Dems taking back the House should be seen as a bigger deal than most are making it out to be. I mean, we flipped 27 seats.

This is good.

Mueller has protection now, and the Trump administration will now be met with some resistance.
