I recommend everyone sees Searching when it hits theater. I saw it last month and loved it. My favorite film of the year so far.
Note that it is all captured on computer and phone screens. Also note that no matter what the trailers promote it as, I would categorize it as a drama/mystery.
August is such a straight-bat filmmaker that he's kinda a bore. It's a kinda sad curio that von Sydow's only two Oscar nominations are courtesy of him and Daldry rather than, well... most anyone else he's worked with. But hey-ho, it's a well-credentialed enough film. I didn't see the appeal.

I'll add it to the list. Von Sydow is a powerhouse actor.
Playtime is now being screened in Amsterdam in 70mm. How's the film?
I can't wait for them to get a 70mm print of Interstellar, they said they're working on it.
