Hope Damien Chazelle greatly enjoys it like Nolan greatly enjoyed First Man. I was kinda right in a comment I made in June that Oppenheimer would pick up a similar Baton that Babylon was trying to hold and has ultimately been way more successful. Basically Babylon and this movie, though thoroughly different, are 3 hour R rated star studded period piece epics released by a major studio. And they're not exactly conventional for what they are, Babylon in that it's fucking gross in parts/super Anti Hollywood and Oppenheimer in that it's also a blockbuster with many trippy psychological sequences.
