"I had it confirmed that the “Oppenheimer” trailer will be playing right before “Avatar: The Way of Water” screenings this coming weekend."

Film blogger who is "usually" pretty accurate with news and early reviews, etc.
The wording is interesting here, "right before" probably the last trailer played (much like in Nope) before Avatar movie itself.

Don't think so, Nope is from Universal so the Oppenheimer teaser was stitched onto the movie. The trailer will probably play before 2 or 3 Disney trailers in front of Avatar.

Isn't World of Reel not very reliable? Maybe I'm thinking incorrectly.

World of Reel misses a number of times, as I recall.

I feel like we go through this every time a new Nolan trailer is about to drop.

1 month before: "It's that time of year, we're getting a trailer for sure"
1 week before: "No signs of the trailer dropping, looks like we aren't getting anything"
1 day before: "DM me the bootleg pls"

With Total film showing photos from the movie. I feel like a trailer is coming this.

A trailer is most probably coming.

But that World of Reel report also said the film was completed, while Nolan in his interview with Total Film said it's not done yet, so....

Do you really think Nolan did that interview the past couple days? The interview is being published this week. The film wasn't finished when the interview occurred
