I know it's him, but all these things are very easy to buy:

Security hearing used to tell the story and jump through the timeline.
No Hiroshima or Nagasaki, only Trinity.
It's important to remember his last big Oppenheimer post he mistakenly stated the film was already completely done. This is false. Nolan just said they have a long way to go before it's finished. Even if this turns out to be true, it's operating under the natural assumptions many of us have already made.

This seems to confirm other sources

Take this as a rumor but some leaker who has leaked in past after i asked him to dm me what he knows says about the plot line
The movie is separated into 2 portions. Black and White and Color. The sequences in Color happen before the detonation while Black and White happens after detonation. The detonation is actually shown at the end of the movie as a long sequence but the sequencing is done in classic nolan style ala Memento + Dunkirk where the timelines of his being called a communist and public humiliation and the time he starts helping US build a nuclear bomb converge on the final scene whcih is a detonation. There is apparently no hiroshima shown. so essentially if the movie was shown in sequence it would be start of nuclear testing followed by detonation followed by public humiliation, but Nolan builds tension and converges both parts of his life converge onto the sequence which is as of now over 3-4 minutes long (detonation)
It seems like he was spot on.

The black and white scenes take place after the detonation of the bomb. It tackles Oppenheimer’s public tribunal, if you will, the public humiliation and the after-effects of what he created. Not to mention, the accusations of his being called a communist.

The scenes in color are flashbacks, when Oppenheimer studied and then started helping the US build a nuclear bomb and the inevitable detonation of it. Rumors are that Hiroshima will not be featured in the film, but only the actual test detonation which will last a few minutes.

A general rule of thumb is to doubt leaks that happen to "leak" things people are already widely assuming without new information. Easy to guess, easy to seem retroactively correct.

I do feel bad that I at one point considered him reliable.

Oppenheimer’s security clearance restored posthumously around the same time Trailer 1 released. What are your thoughts about this happening at this time due to Nolan’s influence - and how do you feel Nolan will put his spin on this historically? Do you think Nolan will keep it more like Dunkirk as more of a suspense thriller? Or, do you think he will be sending a message that is more heavily weighted on the side of the scientists who ended up taking the regretful stance over the entire reason the bomb was developed in the first place to end tyranny? Thoughts on how Nolan will handle this controversial and complex subject material?
