I don't know, I think it makes sense :D I know what you mean when you say clunky dialogue but I don't agree with you. And the explanation for Murphy's Law ("Everything that can happen will happen.") is so great because it has an astro-physical "sub-meaning" as well, I mean it's definitely why they chose it in the first place. Remember the multiverse theory and everything, which actually states that everything that can happen actually happens in parallel universes. So it's a really great analogy for Murphy's Law.

I definitely would agree with you with the line being corny and out of place but I think they put it in their for the sake of the audience understanding that their" wormhole mission" is a possibility since the wormholes do exist. So it's more like Whatever can happen will happen, Wormholes can happen and since they can happen they do happen and exist in the movie's universe proving Murphy's Law to the audience when seeing the film. Still very corny but at the same time makes sense, since some people still don't 100% believe Kip Thorne's theory's of wormholes and black holes actually existing in our universe so the movie's trying to prove to the audience that his theory's are correct and we should really look into them for the sake of colonization of another planet if something like what happens to Earth in the movie actually happens to us on our planet..

Not sure if Elyes Gabel is playing Riggs but more of a likely hood Roth or Doyle. 4 crew team probably is

Matthew McConaughey- Cooper
Anne Hathaway-Brand
Wes Bentley-Case
Eleys Gabel- Doyle or Roth
TARS- Bill Irwin

Doyle and Roth maybe merged as one character since Nolan maybe didn't want to overload the team since the spaceship will be very small as it is written in the script
I believe that the whole crew was shown in the trailer.
Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Wes Bentley, David Giyasi and Bill Irwin in the form of
TARS.
By the way Eleys Gabel only filmed in Canada and you are mistaken David Giyasi for David Oyelowo
I was doing more thinking and I think Doyle and Roth's characters that we're written in the script as them going with the crew on the mission, I think will actually stay behind and use David Giyasi "new" character whose a young black actor to ever the more add too and to represent the spirit of the already young team and crew, their spirit obviously being Hope, Faith, Courage and Awe of the discovery of the new world for humanity to live. If your read the dialogue of Doyle and Roth's character in the script the image I got in my head we're two older white scientists filled with doubt and fear and uncertainty that the mission will actually be accomplished. It also almost felt like they we're lecturing us the reader in almost a college like fashion. I think them staying behind and doing the lecturing before the crew goes will also add to the suspense of the mission for the audience when watching it so they too won't know for sure what will happen?

ANYONE reading the script and is at the point where they land on the Ice-Planet..Where I'm at right now with my second read of the script..Check out the Iceland location!! Google. Svinafellsjokull glacier..it looks amazing..like a place where you would seriously think your on a different Ice-Planet than being on Earth! LOL! Like really google it..It's a place I'd sure like to visit before I die..Don't know HOW Nolan picked the perfect location for the film but he is Christopher Nolan and he is also a brilliant genius and storyteller! :D

Here's a summary of Jonathan Nolan's draft for those who haven't read the script:
1) A neutron star falls into a black hole sending ripples of gravity waves across the galaxy which opens up a worm hole in earth's solar system.
2) Physicists at CalTech scramble to find out what the signals from space are. Government gets involved, government and NSA shut down the researcher's lab and tell them to find out what it means.
3) Fifty years later a black box comes out of the wormhole and lands on earth somewhere. Cooper finds it and it leads him to the NASA (or whatever is left of it) research site. Cooper is selected along with another group of scientists and two robots to fly through the wormhole.
4) They fly through the wormhole and see their ship and their bodies distorted by spacetime distortion.
5) They enter the new solar system to find two black holes in orbit with each other, they navigate through the black holes and end up on icy planet.
6) Still in space suits they look around for clues, they find a shelter made by the chinese government, apparently chinese arrived before USA and setup shop. However all human chinese people are died because graves are found.
7) They find out why these researchers and people died, apparently a neutron star orbiting the black holes wasn't detected previously and it heads towards icy planet every 24 hours to deposit radiation. The team goes inside the shelter before the star comes around, and their robot friend tries to drill a hole in the ice underground. The drilling is successful, but a hole opens up underneath them taking them deep underground.
8) They find alien life in the walls which absorbs and lives off the neutron stars x-rays when it passes by.
9) The alien life forms are small but live as colonies and can take shapes in larger forms. One of the scientists decides to get a sample, disrupting the alien life which causes the alien life forms to chase the team. Sample is taken though.
10) the team discovers a barren underground civilization facility which was supposed to keep all chinese people there, but no one showed up because all researchers died only chinese robots remain.
11) The team find a half-life like black box which can generate gravity and decide to keep it, but chinese robots don't like that so they chase them. Friendly robot on USA's team decides to sacrifice himself so the rest can move forward.
12) Apparently another black hole is found to be orbiting the two black holes and it will rip apart the ice planet in a few years. The team decides to leave the planet asap.
13) They get stuck in a black hole's orbit and then end up inside the event horizon after leaving icy planet. Time slows down for then and decades and years pass by as minutes. Magically another wormhole opens up for them inside the black hole and transports them to a hyperdimension where they encounter hyperdimensional beings

The hyperdimensional beings transport them to a chinese international space station(weirdest plot move)
14) They find technologies very advanced created by chinese robots who have been on the station for thousands of years. One of the scientists decides to stay and the other two decide to leave and go back in time using the advanced technologies.Cooper makes a promise to the scientist staying behind that he will come back for her, they have sex and then he leaves. He learns that his granddaughter has replicated the black box on a larger scale, and decides to go back in time.
15) They find out that time travel is possible through the wormhole but humans can't go through, Cooper tells the other guy with him this but other guy doesn't listen and locks Cooper in a release chamber and decides to go in by himself. Cooper is launched away from the wormhole and other guy goes in wormhole.
instantly the other guy and his ship is destroyed as he goes through wormhole but black box survives as well as his space ship debris and lands on earth (introduction).
16) Cooper makes it back to earth (also back in time) and is regarded a hero, and sees his great great great grandson 200 years in the future.
17) Cooper leaves earth with a stolen ship and decides to find the female scientist.

I don't understand where all these black holes are coming from. Why are there three in one solar system? How would that even happen naturally?

The script is very "science-fiction" to a degree it almost would make a good sci-fi book if it was written in the that form. Sources on here said the new script cut's out the hyper-dimensional alien encounters and so probably the whole third act which if you look at the rest of the story beginning, middle and end..the story does seem bare. However the glacier mountain in Iceland where they filmed is so breathtakingly beautiful. It almost looks like a 7th wonder of the world type thing. They're using that whole location for the Ice-Planet which is pretty awesome since the place looks like another world. LOL! However still sources also said they want to focus more on father/daughter thing in regards to time/travel age difference however we're not sure where Nolan will go with this since in the script it says the amount of time gone and traveling through the wormhole took 40 years on Earth, so this might mean his daughter/son will be in their 60s? or 70s?
If he decides to cut that time shorter than Cooper might return sooner since I'm thinking Nolan wants to impress/shock the audience with Cooper returning when his son and daughter are in their 40s. Maybe to take advantage of the actors and actresses that are playing those roles( Jessica Chastain and Casey Afflect) But like I said we really don't know and hope for someone who knows the details to possibly leak it onto here. What are your thoughts? :)

As for the black holes. When Cooper and his team time-travel to the future going into the wormhole. They were traveling faster than the speed of light to such a degree that back in our solar system everything was coming to the end. When our Sun dies and every other star, planet and moon, all of that energy and force was going with Cooper and his ship through the wormhole which then created the Ice-Planet and the two black holes on the other side from the amount of energy and left over force from the sun and stars dying. Thats' how black holes are created from Suns' and stars dying..all of that mass, energy and force create a black hole to so that end material has it's way out to then be recycled. This is how I understood it reading the script. I could definitely be wrong since I don't really study Space and Physics.

I've been looking at Trailer # 2 and have a wild guess as to what Nolan might do with plot - here is my possible spoiler:
I keep looking at the scene in the trailer where the two are watching the rocket launch in the distance. I have a wild guess that the first two acts of the movie will deal with character development for young Murph and Cooper - with Cooper leaving young Murph. But then Cooper comes back home right before the 3rd act and there is more character development between Cooper and Jessica Chastain as Murph - until we finally end up at what I'm guessing could possibly be the last shot of the film - that scene from the trailer(s) with two people holding hands watching the rocket launch in the distance. Now here's my wild guess - the two standing and watching the rocket take off are Cooper and his new grandchild - while the person going up in the rocket is Jessica Chastain, because somehow Murph as played by Jessica Chastain will want to go out there - and just as she watched her Dad go, now her Dad will watch her go. Where I'm not quite sure of this whole theory of mine is how the Brand character will relate to all of this. In the 2008 version of the script, Cooper flies off to go find Brand at the end - but is my guess at what Nolan might do even a remote possibility? Plus, on IMBD, they have credited the young actor Liam Dickinson as playing "Coop" - does this mean that Nolan might possibly use time travel as going back to a younger Cooper? Or, has the child playing Coop just been named after McConaughey's "Cooper"? My guess is that the plot will stick to time travel based on Kip Thorne's work - i.e. time for Cooper past the wormhole will result in his family back home getting older a lot faster. So, this is what I'm very excited for - how soon will Cooper come back to earth and what will happen back on earth with Jessica Chastain's character, will someone go back out to space again? And who are William Devane and Matt Damon playing??!!!

William Devane will play McConaughey's son grown up in his 70's and Matt Damon is an astronaut who went on an earlier mission to the planet that Cooper and his crew arrive on, and he's kept himself alive with a chryo chamber like another user mentioned on a different thread I believe.

A very interesting theory and a possibility for sure, but I don't think this is the case here. The IMDB guy said that McConaughey doesn't have any scenes with Chastain, Affleck and Grace,

That's right, I mentioned this possibility.
And I agree, Devane plays Cooper's son and Burstyn plays Murphy.
