Does the Odeon in Leicester Square have an IMAX screen?? Can't remember. Last film I saw there was Skyfall and it was on an ordinary screen.
Not sure about Royal Premiere, for James Bond sure, but not for this.

The Odeon is a regular screen, but the Empire which is on the other side of the Leicester Square has been converted into a big digital IMAX like the Chinese Theatre in LA. Likelihood is they do this like TDKR - the main red carpet event will be on Leicester Square, with half the guests going to the Empire IMAX, the other half to Odeon. Then there'll be a separate red carpet and "IMAX Premiere" at the BFI IMAX where the cast & Nolan will go after intros at the Odeon and Empire.

Whaaat? Amazing!

Also, Smithsonian seems like the place to be for Interstellar! They're really getting behind the "next step in aerospace for mankind" message. The first trailer premiered there, and now this.

But now Hathaway is back in full force and will soon be seen opposite Matthew McConaughey in the Christopher Nolan-directed sci-fi flick Interstellar, which hits theaters Nov. 7.

"The man speaks in poetry," she says of McConaughey, who is famous for his often head-scratching discourse. "I remember once while we were filming, something got screwed up, and he said to me: 'Look, we can get upset about this, or we can go with it and have a great story for the rest of our lives.'"

Do we know the date of the first premiere? So fucking crazy it's so close. This must be what it feels like to be a crazed religious person with an apocalypse calendar telling you the date Jesus comes back and realizing it's a month away.

Nolan really, really, really, really, really, really wants people to see this film the right way. More than he ever has.

Must be hugely important to him (duh).

The companies will also collaborate on a Time Capsule project that compiles user- generated content into a short film that will showcase and capture the magic of the current human experience on Earth. This project, curated by Google Play and Nolan, will be available early next year.

The cast is also set to participate in a live Google+ Hangout on Air, to talk directly with fans about the release of the film.

Additionally, in mid-October, Google for Education will deliver its first-ever, movie-themed lesson plans, exciting students at thousands of schools across the country about the math and science that served as the inspiration for the film.
