Pfister and McGarvey had a feud about whose cinematography was better in The Avengers or TDKR back in 2012. He wouldn't use him. Personally, I think Pfister is just rewarding someone that is starting out just like he did when he was a cinematographer. He just did a bunch of videos, but now look at him. He understands that the industry needs to put faith in and invest in up and comers rather than already established people all the time, especially when you talk about the crew behind the camera. Who knows? Jess Hall could be in Pfister's path and go on to become a director himself.IWatchFilmsNotMovies wrote:I was personally hoping for Seamus McGarvey.
Transcendence (2014)
Despite being a blind Cillian fanbot I def got to say...
objectively.
objectively.
Cillian Murphy, of course.
Close call between Rebecca Hall and Johnny Depp, hmmm I'll go with Hall.
I reckon Hall is gonna be the standout. Realistically, no one is really gonna steal it.
Murphy or Hall.
Probably Murphy.

Easter falls on the 4/ 20/14 so that might be the reason it was moved .apw wrote:Much better release date as it gives it more breathing space before Spider-man 2. Not sure why they didn't just give the 4/18 date originally.
