Would Warner release a trailer on the same day as the Avatar trailer? They want to build buzz but Avatar will just overshadow it.

I don't think that's true. Inglourious Basterds comes out in 10 days, and the filming of Inception has begun only 1 or 2 months ago. I don't think they have enough material for a teaser.

I think they will attach the trailer to a WB film like they did with that animated penguin, film with the Harry Potter trailer.
It makes more business sense to attach Inception's trailer to a WB film, which they think might not be a sure financial hit in the cinema.
