These are early numbers. Alot of shows just started on opposite coasts. It will most likely be in the $25-28M range.

Usually their early numbers are estimates of the whole day. Based on how the movie was running earlier in the day and the ticket sales for the evening, they guess what it will take in at night.

55 m would be quite a disappointment if you ask me. Maybe I thought the Nolan factor and the fact that this seems to be THE ONLY ORIGINAL summer blockbuster opening in quite a bit would give it TDK numbers.
