Yep. When "Inglourious Basterds" came out, the negatives were counted first above the positives, which lead a lot of people (including me) to almost turn away and dismiss the movie. Now it's sitting at 88%, and I loved it. The Dark Knight had about the same number of rotten reviews when it was certified fresh.
