Not sure if this is related to movies or misc but since it's speculation I'd say let's keep it here.
There was an interesting topic discussed this week on the r/IMAX group.
Apple teasered an App called IMAX for their Apple Vision Pro.
If you check the website of Apple, they put the immersive experience quite high even adding custom 8K 3D 360° Videos with Spacial Audio.
Among this is also a specifically named App called IMAX which leads to speculation if they may introduce 1.43:1 movies for the first time. Given how much reboot there was for the full format with Oppenheimer, the trailer being even in this format on the BluRay and then also now Dune 2 it seems like Apple could eventually jump onto that.
Until February this is all speculation but whatever it is it will be the closest to ever getting it. Maybe not at first but if fans demand it it could work if you simulate a large IMAX theatre within the glasses.
