It's definitely not a great movie, but I appreciate the plot and the connection to the other movies. However it does make me a little worried about J.J.'s plans for this universe in the future. With everything that happened to this movie pre release and the fact that the next installment is said to be only eight months away it doesn't look bright.

Which really is a shame. The first movies are fantastic, and I like their approach to creating a shared universe.

Also, I loved all the LOST references/homages.

i like them regardless but they are at their best doing bad movies
