Apparently the idea is after Manhattan leaves Earth at the end of Watchmen, he creates the DC Rebirth universe.

Rebirth just handled both Flashpoint and New 52 continuity in an exciting way AND ADDED WATCHMEN!? YES

Finale to Darkseid War was something else. Brilliant writing with some wonderful twists. I just cannot believe Geoff, the man is amazing

I was a bit meh about both issues. Darkseid War kinda reminds me of how I used to write fantasy or fan fiction when I was a kid.
Was it Dr Manhattan who killed Owlman?

Grabs for attention. That's why there's a huge crossover event every year now. Print media as a whole has taken a huge hit.
