I have only seen The Master, Walk the Line, Quills, and Gladiator. I am sure you have seen those as well. Putting him at 6 on my list, might be influenced by the fact he has 2 films coming out in the next couple of years that I am really excited for. (Her, INHERENT VICE!!) I also just think he is one of the best around.

Not on the level of Drive...but visually stunning, and often intriguing. I cant say I loved it but enjoyed it overall. Would watch again. Gosling was terrible...but with that character I am not sure if anyone could be good. I hope Refn goes back to having more of a plot in his next film.
