The Talented Mr. Ripley
It's one of my favorites, it's also one of the films that I wish Nolan directed. Maybe it's because it has very Nolanesque themes as well. It's also Matt Damon's best performance.
If she plays cranium she gives good brainium.

I don't "hate" it. I just don't see why people thought it was so amazing. It was one big cliche filled with stock characters and rip offs of older movies like Ferngully, Pocahontas, and Dances with Wolves. Others can like it though, doesn't bother me.
Agreed. The message Jim sent with that film was revolutionary.

The Vfx and the use of motion capture stuff was revolutionary... the films structure in terms of writing were ok. basically this was a vfx film.
