I have, yeah, I think it adds quite a bit to the film. They're all characters beats, too. Have you seen the deleted scenes? There's a few in there that are gold, some of the best scenes he wrote and shot for the film, add a great deal more character depth, conflict, and it's very, very compelling stuff a few of these scenes. Real shame he edited them out.

Yeah, I've seen all of the deleted scenes and I really can't see why Cameron would edit them out. I mean, they do add some nice character depth, and most scenes just add to the richness of the already gorgeous environment. Some shots were truly breath taking.
Plus, the deleted Earth scenes really did add to the overall message which were kind of lost in my viewings. It made it clear that Earth really was a mess, but also shows off some awesome shots. It's a shame they never made the theatrical cut.
