Never watched Firefly, but watching Serenity made me go :facepalm: knowing that the show was canceled. I hope Whedon makes a sequel some day.

What about the Core with Aaron Eckhart? I saw it recently and I was surprised because I never even heard of it before. Eckhart was surprisingly good, best acting I've seen out of him.
