While that's a cool idea, I was actually hoping now that all of these iron dudes and iron bots are gonna be all over the film they would at least give some uniqueness to Tony's suit.

Well, one, they kind of are all Tony's to begin with. Not to mention, the suit he jumps into in the trailer actually isn't the Mark XLII. It seems to actually be an old design for a Stealth Armor from the first film, which later got the name of Hypervelocity Armor.
