I mean when your political stance revolves around white supremacy, sexism, aligning with the KKK, and supporting voter suppression...yeah.AsianVersionOfET wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 9:28 amSo your political stance should determine whether or not you get hired for a job? Sounds fair.
Correct, also add in anti-democracy among many other things.Bacon wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 7:22 pmI mean when your political stance revolves around white supremacy, sexism, aligning with the KKK, and supporting voter suppression...yeah.AsianVersionOfET wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 9:28 amSo your political stance should determine whether or not you get hired for a job? Ok but it comes across as desperate. It feels like Disney crunched some numbers after deciding Marvel and Star Wars content and decided this movie would bring in viewers and then hired writers and director to make it happen.
I imagine the business arguments given were:
- Established IP
- Original property audience are now parents so easy to introduce their kids to the franchise
- Spin off so their kids won't have to watch previous 4 movies to catch up
- MERCH!
Nazi? No, much worse.

The Buzz Lightyear tv show was pretty fun yo. Buzz is sorta like a Steve Rogers type, so Evans is a good fit.

i mean already said this in my previous post. there's more justification for thor 4 or star wars episode next number than to this movie
