Looking forward to this series. One of the better, recent King novels

Anybody else watch the first two episodes last night? Feels like True Detective mixed with a hint of the supernatural. A slow burn but pretty good set up. Ben Mendelsohn is great as usual, and Jason Bateman is quickly becoming one of the best directors in TV.

Just finished watching Epi 1 to 3. Good so far. I like the vibe this show gives off

Episodes 1 and 2 were good.

Episode 3 lost focus so I lost focus, and I don't feel like picking it back up lol

Another damn good episode. This one was heavy on Cynthia Erivo and she is great as Holly (a character that appears in other King books). The show is a slow burn but it feels purposeful so far, and not just a show wasting time to make sure it gets to a certain number of episodes.

I'm enjoying this but expecting it to fly off the rails soon.

The book's good, in my opinion the best recent stuff King's written, but it does have third act issues. But that's common in a majority of his stuff, even the classic ones like It and The Stand Hopefully, the show deviates some...

Didn't read the book, but I've known about it.

It's like True Detective meets
idk ... The X Files? Stranger Things?
It gets real fucky.

Mendelssohn is great in this.
