Omfg I hate you but I also love you
The Matrix: Resurrections (2021)
Sounds like one of those desperate sequels that did not need to be made. I get it, Wachowkis live in a shadow of those films and they never managed to come close to the success of those movies with their other work, but Revolution(s) ended everything on a definitive note - Neo was Jesus and he died for our sins, the end. Whether people liked that movie or not is not relevant. The point is, the franchise had a definitive end.
I was very not pleased that we never saw Margot Robbi from that angle in the movie.
Who is this guy omg

Fuck YESSS! Keanu Reeves revival must have an effect on this happening. Please be GOOD! They don't need to go philosophically deep like the first one. Just please write /deliver a solid script.
Lol what? The philosophy is what helped make the first one so great. Combined with the memorable imagery and it's an instant classic.

What I'm saying is just make a solid movie. Don't go too philosophical because if you don't get it right it's the end of The Matrix once again. Just like the 2nd and 3rd one when they try to build the philosophical upon the first one that all went wrong and destroy the meaning of the first movie. Just fucking leave the philosophical of the first one alone and just go out there and concentrate on a solid script. Don't be a Prometheus/Convenant or Revolutions/Reloaded. Be a Blade Runner 2049.
I'm in for this if it's true.
