Watching the meltdowns on social media right now over Green Book winning Best Picture is pretty hilarious.
2018-2019 Awards Season
The fact you assumed this about me because I don't like a film and was shocked (along with most) that it won those categories is pretty telling of who you are as a person. I'm done discussing this with you.
Somebody owes someone some money?
Seriously man stop. If there is one sure thing I know about Bacon is that he is not a racist.
I barely watched any movies from this year but I just want an excuse to quote this poem that I like while also expressing some general contempt for this meritless jerk circle.
The rain it raineth every day
Upon the just and unjust fella,
But more upon the just because
The unjust hath the just's umbrella
dude its costumes and production design are widely acclaimed..

'Disgrace' is the only appropriate word to use in relation to Green Book winning Best Picture. It's a film for which the 2019 Best Supporting Actor winner apologized to the family of the man he was portraying, the 'Crash' of 2019. The fact that it won Best Original Screenplay as well when there were so many better films nominated makes it worse. With so many films addressing racism last year (Sorry to Bother You, The Hate U Give, BlacKkKlansman, Blindspotting) I do not believe that this was the film that deserved to get nominated, let alone win anything.
I fucking love Spike Lee's reactions to Green Book winning top prize.
