But yeah, both Cooper and Gyllenhaal are legit. It's 2020, it is known.

Funnily enough, I happen to know members of one of the choirs that shot a scene in Ely Cathedral, United Kingdom for the film in October (actually, I used to sing in that London-based choir 10 years ago). They were recreating, if I remember well, a performance of Mahler's 2nd symphony conducted by Bernstein in 1973 at said cathedral, so they shot on location. One of my old choir friends (who met Bernstein sometime in the '60s or '70s) told me that he chatted with Cooper and found him delightful.
