Lars von Trier is back. This should be fun.
I have nothing against the guy, but the movies I have seen of his? Gosh, I hate them with a passion, ugh!

If anything, you should have something against the guy.

I have a question about the masterclass of Chris Nolan.
Can you buy tickets for that event? Or is it only for the press?
Iam just a big fan and would love to join the event.

Melancholia is a masterpiece and Dogville was made by a genius.

However, he's a misogynist and qualifies as human garbage.

The Italian cinema renaissance continues (hopefully) as Cannes. Matteo Garrone's 'Dogman' and Alice Rohrwacher's 'Happy as Lazzaro' are in main competition. The latter seems to be the early favourite. There were rumours that other Italian films may have made the cut; Suspiria (Guadagnino), Loro (Sorrentino) and Il Primo Re (Rovere). I suspect that Suspiria and Il Primo Re may debut at Venice in the Summer.

The Dogman trailer is already released (Italian only for now)

Breaking the Waves and Dancer in the Dark are masterpieces. Antichrist is pretty close. Nympho was solid but not on par with those. Agreed on Doggville.
