In the case of "Cidade de Deus", is not like I thought it was epic but every time I hear the name of this movie it takes me back to this extremely violent yet beautifully realistic pictures, the film has such a visual resonance. Amazing :clap:
Exactly what makes it amazing. It's not trying to be epic, but rather a work of beautiful violence. :) Like I said, there are scenes in this movie that will scar you for life.

Well even if thats true I still liked City Of God more then the Rings. But thats just me.
