Just watched Season 3 Episode 2... I get what this episode is trying to do but it just doesn't really work. There's some good parts though.

Finally, i'm all caught up with this series.

It ain't no The Reichenbach Falls or The Great game, but Season 3 finale was still pretty good.

Only watched season 1, lately I got too lazy to try to watch tv shows or mangas that have lots of chapters to go to be up to date.

Fucking hell Moffat.

To say more would be spoilers but the special is NOT a standalone. Apart from that, I really really liked it.
Moffat really shoehorned that whole Inception-style plot device and the S3 ending into it, if only the S3 connection was far more fulfilling and advanced the story but it didn't apart from "someone is possibly pretending to be Moriarty in S4"
This came close to ruining an otherwise brilliant standalone episode.

My mind is full of fuck and I don't know what do with it. I mean, I was entertained, but do I think it was genuinely good? I have no idea.

Sounds like it's a waste of our time and everyone involved's time.

Not really? It's gonna be hard to say until we see how this season plays out.
