I stopped watching near the end. Looks really, really bad. And how is she 'visionary'? Damn Wachowski siblings actually earned the title and this looks like poor man's Cloud Atlas.

The only DuVernay film I've seen is Selma, which I enjoyed. The direction didn't blow me away, but I was fine with it.
I read the Wrinkle in Time book when I was a kid, although I barely remember anything from it. This trailer didn't get me amped, and it didn't joggle any memories from the book, which isn't exactly a great sign. I'll reserve judgement for now though.
