The designs look cool, the CGI does not. Also, whatever tone they're aiming for, they're failing in achieving it.

It needs to feel like a Cronenberg movie if he were to sell his soul to Marvel, so far this is the only trailer that expressed that for me, half thanks to Hardy’s weirdest quirks so far, which is quite a feat.

The movie will probably be like that line: ‘not completely awful’.

Sony needs to get their shit together and put this Venom in their third Spidey co-lab with MCU.
