The way Vallée injects flashbacks/flashforwards is just as seamless as Wild.

Eco-Shailene is always consistently very good when she has the material.

Ep 2 is up on HBO on demand. People who think this is just a chick show are missing out, a very smart social satire with great entertainment value and self awareness.

Reese is just hysterical in this role..comedic genius, I am laughing before she even says anything. I think it is time we start considering Jean-Marc Vallée an auteur. Incredible how Jean-Marc gets two completely different terrific performances out of Reese.

Reese is absolutely killing it in this role. Have to think she's the favorite to win the Emmy especially if Sarandon/Lange split votes.
