Wouldn't the title come off as a bit odd if by the end of the film there are still two Jedi left?£
Can 'Jedi' not also be plural? That would make a big difference.

I mean they only figure out how to genuinely become one with the Force and transcend after they had their collective asses whupped. And they're Jedi "Knights" - wars not make one great.
