James D'Arcy basically playing Edwin Jarvis, which is strange as Bettany plays him in a flashback (and JARVIS the AI and Vision) in AOU which is very soon after season 1 ends.
So...probably some make up trickery to make D'Arcy look like a younger Bettany?
Eh, they'll probably just hand wave it. Howard Stark is being played by two different people (John Slattery in Iron Man 2 and Ant-Man and Cooper in this and First Avenger) and that turned out fine.
My bad. the first part of the sentence was cut off so I assumed he was talking about Agent Carter, since that's taking SHIELD's timeslot as well. And the series is only 8 episodes long and began filming a few weeks ago, so a November release wasn't implausible. Ah well. Hopefully we'll hear something from NYCC this weekend. I think the SHIELD panel is tomorrow so hopefully someone will ask about it.
Description of the footage shown at the end of the SHIELD panel:
As it begins, Peggy, Dominic Cooper’s Howard Stark and the living Edwin Jarvis arrive to a harbor at night. Stark boards a speedboat, tasking Peggy with tracking down a deadly formula of his that might fall into the wrong hands, and could level a city block. Leaving them behind, Stark also assigns Jarvis to assist Peggy, despite Peggy having accidentally attacked him in an alley earlier. Jarvis notes that he’d only be available before 9:00 P.M., usually going to bed thereafter.
We also saw bits of an impressive fight sequence between Hayley Atwell, and what we’ll presume is either a Zodiac or Hydra agent, likely in Peggy’s apartment. Suffice to say, Peggy makes good use of the window.

Perhaps Paul didn't want to be in the TV show. I'm sure they would have asked him first.
