I thought it might be important to bring to people's attention that there was a fire at Kyoto Animation's 1st Studio building that claimed 34 people's lives and injured 34 others: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2 ... nt/.149180

Vinland Saga seems to be a pacifist's take on Vikings and medieval warfare. I'm glad something that tries to be period-accurate exists whilst denouncing violence.
Anyone here has finished Attack on Titan 3?
shout out to neon for that amazing ending. i'm very proud of everyone involved
also for that amazing beginning and middle
and shout out to anything made after 1995 for even trying

Arguably the greatest there is.
My gf hasn't seen much anime but wanted to start, so we did Eva last year, Cowboy Bebop and FMAB this year, and now onto the next adventure. Unsure where to go next. We both prefer more serialized storytelling rather than the episodic. She has seen Death Note previously. She already vetoed GITS:SAC.

Has she seen all the Ghibli stuff?
May I suggest something a tad more edgy and shorter.
Like Elfen Lied, Claymore, Berserk or Kill la Kill.
Hunter X Hunter or Code Geass should also be at the top of any anime recommending list.
