If there is one thing the world needs its another young-adult novel series adaptation.

At least it has a male protagonist.

After seeing In the Loop Malcolm Tucker has become one of my favorite fictional characters in recent memory.

What were your thoughts on the film? Did you post a review?

Am I the only one that thinks he faintly resembles a young Kevin Bacon?
Ermehgerd. I totally said that the other day on tumblr. Cause he does.
He totally is a dead ringer for Kevin Bacon. Only the hair looks different.

Nope, I didn't post a review.
I wasn't particularly interested in the story it was trying to tell, but I didn't mind because it was definitely a dialogue-driven film, and a hilarious one at that (was the screenplay nominated for an Oscar?). There were strong performances across the board (I was impressed by Hollander), but Capaldi stole every single scene he was in, he just demanded your attention.

EDIT: Also, Paul Higgins was great. I guess I just like angry, sweary Brits...
