That's true. But if it weren't in 3D or IMAX, then the gross wouldn't have been so much.

Yeah, but I thought this went out of theatres early to make way for the DVD/Blu-Ray :?

Regardless, Alice in Wonderland may be the most successful film of Burton’s career, but it's also one of his worst, a demonstration of inert, lifeless filmmaking.
