Cosmopolis for me. I'm a Cronenberg fan and I was really looking forward to this. It seemed like an interesting concept. Suffice to say it was the most boring film I've had to sit through this year. The performances from Pattinson and Giamatti were really good though.
Prometheus, although I should have known better with Scott at the helm.

Wow, Skyfall? Interesting.
Cosmopolis is a def a good one. Easily my least favorite Cronenberg movie ever.
The biggest problem with Prometheus was the script, but of course the buck stops with the director.

I agree with thisDurden_77 wrote:Prometheus no doubt. After that Looper, but that is a way better film than Prometheus.
I won't call it awful.Joeyjojo72 wrote:Ill second JC as Most Boring. Pretty shocking considering all the whiz-bang dering do and the alien backdrop.
on-topic: Lawless is also up there as Most Disappointing. I had high hopes.
And Lockout doesnt apply to this thread because no one on Earth expected it to be anything but awful. It belongs in the "Worst Movies" thread.
It is a cheesy popcorn flick which doesn't take itself seriously.

I actually started this thread because i find that the "Worst Movie..." and "Best movie..." threads tend to invite arguments. "Most Disappointing" is a bit less confrontational as it allows you to critique something without completely trashing it.
Lockdown doesnt really apply to this thread as it was panned long before it was released, but i hear where you are coming from. I could see myself enjoying it on that level.

Meh. I had high hopes for Looper and I absolutely loved it.Durden_77 wrote:After that Looper, but that is a way better film than Prometheus.
