Keaton would need to win BAFTA to give himself any chance, and I don't see him beating Redmayne there.

I haven't seen Boyhood yet, so I can't really say anything about Arquette. I think the other three are locked indeed, they were all terrific.ArmandFancypants wrote:The acting races are all locked up with Redmayne/Moore/Simmons/Arquette.
Do they want a prediction in every category? I'd say wait until the DGA.
Adapted: Either Whiplash or Imitation Game....leaning towards the formerChristNolan wrote:Stuck on these:

Live Action: Aya seems to be garnering a lot of praise. But so is The Phone Call. Tough one
Best Documentary: Citizenfour
Best Animated: HTTYD 2. Alternative: Tale of Princess Kaguya.....but I think Dragon's taking it.
It's got nothing to do with how good they are.Nomis1700 wrote:I haven't seen Boyhood yet, so I can't really say anything about Arquette. I think the other three are locked indeed, they were all terrific.ArmandFancypants wrote:The acting races are all locked up with Redmayne/Moore/Simmons/Arquette.

Arquette's win is even more secure than the other three. Simmons and Moore are also almost secure although Moore is not as safe. The real acting race is between Keaton and Redmayne.Nomis1700 wrote:I haven't seen Boyhood yet, so I can't really say anything about Arquette. Moore has been safe for months now, same with Simmons.MeLVaNoaTe wrote:Arquette's win is even more secure than the other three. Simmons and Moore are also almost secure although Moore is not as safe. I think Pike is the most loved Nominee in that category, but Moore has snagged majority of the awards, so she'll rather safe. Once Whiplash was released, he was pretty much a lock from then onwards.
Most loved by who? Not the industry certainly. She's prob 5th in the race tbh.BlairCo wrote:I think Pike is the most loved Nominee in that category, but Moore has snagged majority of the awards, so she'll rather safe. Once Whiplash was released, he was pretty much a lock from then onwards.
Less loved than Cotillard and Jones? I don't think so.Allstar wrote:Most loved by who? Not the industry certainly.
