Eh, first one was better than IM2. The villain in the sequel was even more rushed and bland and anti-climatic than the villain in IM1.

The last time a movie was over-estimated by so much was Attack of the Clones. It's pretty rare for a studio to be so wrong.

I do agree on the villain. In the first IM he was better set up and developing as the movie went along.

Yeah, Mickey Rourke kinda underused for me. :|
And the final battle with him, what, it's over? :D

Plus, he was the type of villain that needed a developed back story. His back story was rushed.

Whiplash isn't no Joker who can just waltz in to cause anarchy.
