Re: Film genre christopher nolan could take on!
I think Nolan should do more period pieces. He could have taken the easy road and set The Prestige in modern times, but he was clever enough to make it turn-of-the-20th-century. No matter what films he does after Inception/Batman 3/godfathering Superman, he could easily set his films in the 60s, 80s...

A thought on Nolan films:
"You don't need 3D effects to experience the depth of a Nolan film."

Re: Chris Nolan to 'godfather' new 'Superman'?
with all due respect, i'm just saying that i'm tired of watching remakes of old movies, book adaptations (i'm sick n' tired of them), comic books adaptations, foreign language films remakes, movies based on true facts, adaptations of plays, movies following series, new installments of movies made d...

Re: Why Insomnia Is The Least Respected Nolan Film
Exactly, and because it is a remake. If it had been an original film, Nolan would have made it amazing.#1fan wrote:i think it is the least respected because anyone could have done it

Re: Chris Nolan to 'godfather' new 'Superman'?
If Nolan does produce this, does he get to pick the cinematographer/editor/etc ?
Because if he does, will the movie have the same "look" as other Nolan films?

Re: Nolan's Trademarks
I've always thought that each Nolan film revolves around one simple thing or one powerful word. So his trademark would essentially be a general "theme."Are you watching closely? Following = trust This one was the hardest to label, because Following has a such a unique concept. I say trust because th...

Re: Hard cuts
I especially love the hard cut after Alfred's story, which cuts to Harvey in the hospital. Whenever I see it, I always think that it kind of signifies the beginning of Harvey's story. As if "here was the first two hours of the movie, now this is where it comes crashing down on Batman's world." Its g...

Re: Batman 3 synopsis
Why does the plot need to be so complicated though? Consider this: For years I have believed that Batman: Mask of the Phantasm is the BEST Batman movie after The Dark Knight. Yeah that's right its even better than Batman Begins. The plot is simple, it involves only two villains, it doesn't add a ple...

Re: Your Suggestion Cast?
Keep: Christian Bale Michael Caine Morgan Freeman Add: Phillip Seymour Hoffman as The Penguin - The character would not be a fully costumed villain with powers or abnormalities or high-tech weapons. The Penguin would simply be the nickname of Hoffman's character, who would play a mod-boss or gangste...
