Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation
Is Tenet the scapegoat of 2020? Sorry, I'm really sick about american's journalisim. I think people are sick of it (and Nolan), especially after the quadrillion articles written about the film. Human nature to want the to see the "big guy(s)" fail. I saw a lot of the same with Tarantino last year. ...

Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation
Nolan's career box-office numbers (worldwide) should cross the $5 billion-mark within a week or so.

Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation
Internationally (total) it seems Tenet will cross the $200-mark by end of the day, which is good stuff. The domestic box-office will sink it though, I don't think it will be higher than $30mn total after this weekend. In short, it needs to make another $200-250mn to be profitable, which seems like a...

Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation
According to pro analysts and recent reports from trades (Variety) it needs to make close to $450 million to be profitable, WB spent less on the marketing than usual.

Re: Tenet - Box Office Discussion/Speculation
I'm not optimistic, but we'll have to see how Tenet holds its second weekend before calling it D.O.A. -Vader Gotta wait a bit longer than that, I think (?). Difficult to assess US grosses without CA/NY, but hoping the reported numbers aren't terrible on Monday. We should also remember that this can...

Only if it's different from his recent, crummy piece of shit that's not even CERTIFIED FRESH on RT. I don't even deal with mediocre movies.

Fincher about to redeem 2020: https://twitter.com/empiremagazine/status/1302849079471267840?s=19 Ahh yes, can't wait for another "perfect" effort from Fincher. Dude has become so fucking boring after Zodiac . Guessing you haven't seen The Social Network . I did. Overrated by lazy critics trying to ...

Re: ⊃∪∩⪽ (2020) ps. trailer september 9th, 9am PST
Really hoping this trailer will WOW me, I need something to get excited about besides Bond (which 100% will be mediocre+ at best). Loved Sicario , and to a lesser extent Prisoners , but both Arrival and Blade Runner 2049 disappointed a little bit. Both good or even great films, but they never made a...
