Re: Your favorite villain?
Joker obviously is the most iconic and perfect villain. Darth Vader is right there with him. Then I'd also throw in Anton Chigurh for third place.

Re: Under the Skin (2014)
Could go and see this...but don't know what to think. Might just wait to watch on my projector for a more personal and hopefully frightening viewing. I;d say seeing it in a theater is probably the best viewing. It's an experience of images and sounds. A lot like sequences in 2001. eeeeeh -Vader Not...

Re: Interstellar General Information
I actually didn't sense any noir in the teaser. I haven't read Jonah's draft so I don't know how many noir elements were in it, but with Chris' rewrite he could have potentially added some. It would difficult to see how there would be any noir in this though. In the teaser there was sense of humani...

Re: Interstellar General Information
All of Nolan's films have noir aspects. Are you guys expecting Noir elements in Interstellar? I think it'd be a really cool meld of genres. The trailer did have a classic noir shot composition on McC's face. I can't recall a Sci-Fi film mixed with Noir ever. Blade Runner dude... Ahh fuck. I went bl...

"@DrewAtHitFix I love how Batfans are mindlessly loyal to Nolan. Can't wait to see them flail w/ the meaning of INTERSTELLAR."
Haha truth to this for some people. Makes it sounds wildly ambitious and complex. Im assuming he's read the draft.

Re: Hollywood's Biggest Names On Their Favourite Films
Oh there's another one too. Nolan showed up way more than anyone else on this list haha.
on The Shawshank Redemption: "When I first saw it I liked it, but wouldn't have rated it as one of my favourite films. But I've seen it many times over the years and it gets better and better."

Re: Hollywood's Biggest Names On Their Favourite Films
Nolan on Star Wars "The first Star Wars has a very special place in my heart. I just thought it was an incredible film. I remember seeing it 12 times in the cinema. Every kid's birthday in 1978 would be a trip to see Star Wars at the cinema. It's got that sense of immersion in a world, you can reall...
