I noticed a friend at my screening and shes a casual movie goer, she told me it was a "must-see", but then rated it 7.5/10

10/10 from me, i love this movie. That fellow Nolan fans are loving it is a great sign to me. I remember when I first saw The Dark Knight, I had to sit in the theatre through the credits just to absorb what just happened. To this day, I still find new things to appreciate and discover in that film....

I think that's a possibility, but we never saw dreams like in that sense - therefore I don't think that's what happened. I totally agree with you about this film not being summer film; the feel of the film was not for a summer audience.
