Re: Killers of the Flower Moon (2021)

I love Scorsese but his budgets are getting out of control. I know this is a period piece but $225 million is WAY too much for this type of film. With a budget like this, there's no way a studio could make a profit. I think Netflix may even balk at this. They aren't brining in subscriptions at the s...

Re: The Batman (2021)

The point is that if WB is willing to spend 200 million on a lesser character like Aquaman, they wouldn't get cheap (for modern superhero movies) for their most popular character.

I do find the number hard to believe, though, because it sounds like they are building pretty massive sets in studio.

Re: The Batman (2021)

I can't believe that. Batman is WB's prized jewel..they will want to make sure as much as possible to make a film of high quality but also an event film to make big box office. Also the plan is to set up a trilogy. That'd be hard to do with that small of budget. I mean Aquaman had a budget of 200 mi...

Re: The Batman (2021)

As others have mentioned, everything has a Zero Year look to it. The Riddler was also the main heavy during that storyline also...hmmm I do get tired of black on black color motif for the suit in regards to the emblem, cowl, and cape. I also miss the bat pod compared to this motorcycle, which looks ...

Re: Birds of Prey and the fantabulous emancipation of one harley quinn (2020)

The movie's doing fine for a "R" rated action flick. It is product of unrealistic expectations from the media, it never was gonna be a 200 million/500 million worldwide grosser. Harley Quinn has a loud, passionate fanbase, but is still not that well-known to casual moviegoers. But, if it's budget is...
