Re: Last Film You Watched? VI

Kong: Skull Island : 5/10 Saw an advanced screening of it yesterday, and I was pretty disappointed. Without going into any spoilers, although there really isn't anything to spoil as pretty everything that you think is gonna happen happens. I was expecting a fun popcorn film, and the productions valu...

Take it as you will. Plus I'm confident that critics will share my opinion on this. I predict 25-35% on RT.

Re: Kong: Skull Island (2017)

Just saw an early screening of it, it was not good. The characters are either generic as hell or just terrible walking cliches, the dialogue is subpar and the editing is so choppy to the point that it honestly reminded me of BvS(theatrical version) and Suicide Squad. Some of the action sequences wer...

Re: Video Games Part II

I don't see many games being compared to Dark Souls, outside of it's own sequels or Bloodborne. I wonder why. Imma leave this here just for the sake of it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZZ9_RJ2EPo0 Interesting analysis, but I don't think it quite disproves of my point. If anything, it seems to hin...

Re: Video Games Part II

I think this is a bit of an unfair comparison, because Dark Souls has had three other games to prolong it's hype and legacy, and yes I'm counting Bloodborne, since it's essentially impossible to talk about Bloodborne without associating it with the DS games due majority of the game mechanics being ...

Re: Video Games Part II

Dark Souls is 5 years old too. And what was once niche is now getting more and more popular and it finally starts to receive the recognition it deserves. The thing with Skyrim is that, while it is a masterpiece of a game, it's nowhere near in terms of design complexity to Dark Souls. There's a reas...

Re: Height and Weight/ Fitness Thread

I'm 6ft and around 165 lbs, but still growing, so it will probably be a bit different by next year. Though I surprised to find this many people here who are around my height or taller who are skinnier than me, since I'm usually the skinniest guy in most groups in real life. :)

Re: Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Well the final fight, the reveal, and Zemo/BP were great, I don't have anything bad about that. My personal look on is that this film is captivated by a type of vengeance within some of the characters and it comes from consequences (which also is a huge part in this). What is odd to me is after the...
