Re: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)
I know Sharon Tate was murdered, but thats about all I know. So, ultimately, I found Robbie to be mostly pointless. How dare you critique Sharron Tate?! I'll have you know her role is perfect! Reported! "/s" Also, it isn't just a foot fetish, it's a fully-blown leg fetish too. There were so many sh...

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation
Zimmer has a tendency to focus on "action" but he has a lot more range than David Julyan. Julyan tends to only do ambient music. I don't know if he has a melody in him. His music is too simple. I can hammer similar sounds and moodscapes out with some basic synthesizers. The only time I was impressed...

Re: TENET - General Information/Discussion/Speculation
Some people just want pepsi twists and mindfucks and Insomnia doesn't give that. I've said it once: majority (?) likes Nolan just because of "twists" :( I don't think that's why. Batman Begins 's twist and The Dark Knight Rises 's twists are both very mediocre. It's nice having Liam Neeson came bac...

Re: Ludwig Göransson will compose Tenet
I'm gonna need some recommendations of Ludwig tracks that fit into the Nolanverse because right now i can't hear it. Hope he can surprise me. Someone mentioned the Death Wish soundtrack, which is reminiscent of much of the music Nolan seems to like. It's not very good though. Nothing memorable about.

Re: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)
Did any of you wish that they showed Rick and Cliff in Italy? Even if it was just an expanded version of the narrated montage but with actual footage. It makes sense to not show too much considering the movie is meant to be about Hollywood, but that is where the story naturally went. It felt jarrin...

Re: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)
The Spahn ranch scene is the only time I felt the pace drag if im being honest. I understand the approach it just feels a little off to me at times. It's one of my favorite scenes in the movie tbh. If Tarantino had more than one movie to do, I'd love for him to do a grind house style straight horro...

Re: Hideo Kojima Official Thread
Total trash. You can't tell what the game is about at all. It's just a close-up of a poorly rendered model of Norman Reedus that will age like all those Playstation 2 covers. They may as well have just taken an actual picture of Norman in a rain coat. Please enlighten us on what this game is about,...

Re: Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2019)
I went to a 7:40 showing on Friday and there was a decent amount of people on the younger side. They also seemed to enjoy the movie as they collectively laughed throughout, and after it ended, there were two separate positive comments on it. Cinemascore matters more than anecdotes though. Going by t...

Re: Tenet Fan Art Thread
I wonder which of his films the marketing will rely on for "From the director of". Because there are four now (The Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Interstellar, Dunkirk) and there is no way that they're squeezing in all four, right? They're gonna have to cut one, or two. Let's do all four. To Hell ...
