Re: Star Wars: Episode IX (2019)

So will this now be full of hommages to ROTJ? Is there going to be another Death Star-like galactic basketball in it? JJ Abras is of 'meh' quality. Most of what this guy does is derivative (Spielberg films, the first Star Wars, Wrath of Khan, etc.) but serviceable in a generic sort of way. And most...

Re: Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)

I mean truthfully there's nothing inherently scary about Darth Vader either. Dude is in a robo suit with a triangle shaped mask and a weird hat, all of which is expectantly solid black. He's a walking sci-fi trope. But the performance makes him scary, menacing, and an absolutely evil. I'm not saying...

Re: Rank 2017's Superhero Movies

1. For one, the parademons usually travel via boomtube, so the ships in that image probably don't belong to them, just as they likely don't belong to the Amazons. Secondly, if this is a scene that tak...

Re: DC Extended Universe

http://i.imgur.com/Mdrofdy.jpg I know this image is fanmade, but there is something to me that is inherently stupid about the fact that the first movie is Man of Steel and the last is Man of Steel 2. I don't know it is just me but that makes little to no sense. Why do I care (even as someone who lo...

Re: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016)

I thought the lines from Chirrut Imwe (the samurai looking dude) were kinda meh. The script was cool, the delivery seemed weird to me.

That was awesome. Some of the cinematography looks wonderful.
