Re: Oppenheimer - IMAX locations and info thread

Anyone watching it at Universal Citywalk? The very auditorium that Nolan himself likes to test screen his films at: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZT81yuY72/

Hell, you guys could even try to sit in the same seat he uses . I think this is either row H or J

Re: Set Photos/Videos (Potential Spoilers)

Don't recall, what scene? He's credited as "Lifeboat Soldier 1". I don't remember him either, probably a really small, maybe even non-speaking part. Maybe the night scene of Tommy and Harry Styles trying to get onto Cillian's lifeboat? The guy forcing them off? It's really hard to tell if that's hi...

Re: Oppenheimer - General Information

Sande Alessi is casting a Lyndon B. Johnson lookalike. He presented Oppenheimer the "Enrico Fermi Award" in 1963.

Sande Alessi usually only casts extras and stand-ins, so this is likely a small, non-speaking part

I haven't finished the book, yet. But so far I don't know of any parts of Oppenheimer's life where he would be interacting with "gorgeous starlets" or "handsome actors"??
Could be a minor scene (or scenes) that Oppenheimer won’t even be involved in, or a different character subplot.

Re: Cast

Noticed somewhat of a pattern starting with Inception : Nolan had a tendency to bring on new talent for one film, then he'll put them in his very next one. Joseph Gordon Levitt, Marion Cotillard, and Tom Hardy, brought on from Inception to The Dark Knight Rises Anne Hathaway and Josh Stewart were br...

Re: Untitled Oppenheimer Project - General Information

extensive digital effects Universal: “Chris, we’d love to work with you, but no, we don’t think it’s a good idea to set off real nukes in the desert just to get the shot. How about we just do that part digitally?” Jokes aside, not surprised he chose Universal. He’s always been using their 70mm IMAX...
