Re: CBS' Person of Interest
As Chris might say: I'm gonna need to watch those again. One solid thought I have is that Shaw's arc has been a gem so far, with its visceral quality, Inception vibes, and so many great moments in general. Latest ones: the badass, feral look in the elevator; the heartwarming '4 Alarm Fire' message; ...

Re: CBS' Person of Interest
Melissa did great here, and I really like how the episode's true to form for her (in terms of lighthearted stuff) while carving a nice place for itself within S5. I'm pretty sure this was also her first writing for Greer, and a fine job in that regard too. Honestly, I'm glad she co-wrote the 100th, ...

Re: CBS' Person of Interest
Though I don't like it more than B.S.O.D., I'm okay with Truth Be Told, and don't think it's all that regressive. If anything, it's more akin to S4 than to the first two (i.e. procedural/flashback A-plot with Samaritan-related B-plot). I think Reese told Iris "enough to keep her safe", which paralle...

Just checked it out, and I don't think it would have worked as well. Feels a bit tacky and high-school-ish.

Re: CBS' Person of Interest
Been away from this place too long. Something that's a little puzzling in 6,741 is that Samaritan picks up Shaw from the calls, but not from cameras. Is she really avoiding all of them? The scene in ShotSeeker where Root is arguing that TM needs to learn to push back in the Playground... Playground ...

Re: CBS' Person of Interest
I agree that Harper ultimately had little impact, but I think the Reese relationship works with his development. Without that, what would the rest of his arc be? Keep trying to help people, while being more open, until he's killed? I wouldn't mind them circling back to what Reese brought up multiple...

Re: CBS' Person of Interest
And the friend who visited set that I mentioned, confirmed that 5x05 is called "6,741", from Melissa Scrivner & Alrick Riley. 5x06, apparently, has a "Three Digit" title. Make what you can with that. Only one conventional title so far, then (i.e. just words, English, typical spacing). And as you no...
