Re: Gone Girl (2014)
Good god this film looks bad. Did they change the book's ending? Because that was probably the most inane and laziest ending to a story I've read IN AGES. Anyway; I really hope Fincher will return to form someday and make another great film such as Se7en and Fight Club again. The Social Network was ...

Speechless. Superb work.
l wonder if this somehow *might* draw the attention of a wider audience to Interstellar.

Gay protagonist! struggle! injustice! WW2! Fight against nazi!...the only way this film could be any more award baity is if it was directed by Steven Spielberg and featured a few slaves getting whiped by the bad guys or old members of the Royal family discussing politic, drinking tea and harassing ...

Re: Have Your Thoughts On The Movie Changed Since Its Releas
I actually quite liked it. Loved it while watching it on theater, but is very flawed. It doesn't compare in any way with TDK. The Dark Knight has to be the most thrilling film that I've eve seen, like, ever. And on the top of that, is brilliant crafted and highly intelligent - the smartest action fl...

First official reaction (in spanish; last paragraph) http://www.elmundo.es/cultura/2014/09/10/541008dbca474165178b456e.html "Hands down the best movie of the year (...) a monument" Some critics say that about literally every Paul Thomas Anderson film, so it's to be taken with a grain of salt. He is...

He should do a medium-budget sci-fi/drama film in the lines of HER (2013) with a bigger postmodernist approach (similar to Memento). Nolan could very well do a film like this. Returning to the roots.

Re: What was the last movie you watched? V
Dog Day Afternoon Wanted to see this for my second time since after I first saw it. I was curious, too, to see how well it would hold up on a second viewing. Well it sure does. Just as good as remembered. Very good story, great direction from a guy who's body of work I must see more of, and one of ...
